Evans, Ewan & Brady Honored as a Central Insurance Companies Blue Streak Agency

Combined Agents of America LLC (CAA) reported that one of its member agencies, Evans, Ewan & Brady Insurance Agency Inc. of Georgetown, Texas, has been appointed a Blue Streak representative for the Central Insurance Companies.

Blue Streak is a personal lines service, recognition and relationship program provided to agencies representing Central who have maintained consistently high professional standards and a proven track record for producing profitable personal lines for Central.

The purpose of the Blue Streak program is to provide prompt, accurate personal lines service to policyholders through a mutual commitment to the program between Central and its Blue Streak agents. Because of this close partnership, Blue Streak agents are given priority attention on all business submitted to Central.

“We at Central take this authority very seriously, and offer it only to those whom we believe have earned it through their past performance,” said Chuck Wassberg, vice president and regional manager of Central’s southwest regional office.

Evans, Ewan & Brady is one of eight Blue Streak agents in the southwest region, which includes Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Arizona.

Less than 15 percent of Central agents are Blue Streak and they produce over 33 percent of all Central’s personal lines business.

Blue Streak agents consistently outperform non Blue Streak agents in loss ratio, retention and production.

Ewan recently attended a three-day meeting at the home office of the Central Insurance Companies in Van Wert, Ohio, where he was designated the Blue Streak agency underwriter and coordinator of the program. Evans, Ewan & Brady has represented Central since 2001.

The Central Insurance Companies are made up of Central Mutual, CMI Lloyds and All America Insurance Companies. Central is a strong mutual company and has been in operation since 1876. Its southwest regional office is located in Irving, Texas.
