Higginbotham & Associates Names Page as VP

February 2, 2005

Fort Worth, Texas-based Higginbotham & Associates announced it has named seasoned property and casualty insurance broker Curtis W. Page a vice president at its Austin office.

Page joins Gregory Meserole and Matt Burns, who were hired as managing directors to open Higginbotham’s Austin location in June 2004.

With 24 years experience in both commercial and personal insurance, Page is well versed in all facets of the industry, but his particular area of specialty lies in risk management for healthcare, social service and not-for-profit organizations. He was most recently a principal at Nieman Hanks Puryear, a division of Frost Insurance Agency Inc.

A state of Texas licensed risk manager and instructor for the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas (IIAT) Producer Training Program, Page is the first in a series of planned additions to Higginbotham’s Austin practice, which includes property and casualty, employee benefits and financial services capabilities.

“My move to Higginbotham & Associates allows me to provide a higher level of client service and support than ever before,” said Page. “I’m excited to share in Higginbotham’s ‘single source’ philosophy, giving our Austin-area customers one point of contact for all their insurance and benefits services.”

An Austin native, Page received a bachelor’s of business administration degree in 1977 from the University of Texas, where he studied marketing. He has been a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) since 1985 and a Certified Risk Manager (CRM) since 2001.
