GEICO (Government Employees Insurance Company) announced plans to add more than 100 new associates to serve its growing number of policyholders in Texas.
Currently employing more than 1,000 associates, GEICO’s Dallas management team will be hiring associates for positions in the service and claims department. GEICO will be recruiting entry-level associates, college graduates and experienced professionals to fill these positions. The company also seeks to fill several of these positions with bilingual (English/Spanish) associates.
Gary Brown, the regional vice president of the company’s Dallas regional operations, said GEICO expects “tremendous growth in 2006.”
GEICO provides auto insurance coverage for more than 6 million policyholders and insures more than 10 million vehicles. It is a member of the Berkshire Hathaway group of companies.
