The Texas Department of Insurance Division of Workers’ Compensation will hold stakeholders meetings Mar. 9 and Mar. 22, 2006.
For those who cannot attend the Mar. 9 meeting, TDI/DWC will hold a live Web cast beginning at 1:00 p.m. The Web cast may be accessed via the TDI Web site at www.tdi.state.tx.us/.
The Mar. 22 meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. Room 100 at TDI headquarters, Hobby Building, 333 Guadalupe St. in Austin.
The purpose of this stakeholder meeting will be to receive input from system participants on the pre-proposal drafts of rules posted on the TDI Web site on Feb. 17.
These draft rules may be found at www.tdi.state.tx.us/wc/rules/planning/dmtp/tpppd.html and at www.tdi.state.tx.us/wc/rules/planning/rtwguide/rtwguideppd.html.
Those interested in the issues addressed by the identified rules are encouraged to provide comments and/or questions either in person at this stakeholder meeting or in writing through the e-mail address provided in the drafts posted on the Web site. The department will continue to accept comments on these rule drafts via e-mail up to and after this meeting.
For those unable to attend in person, there will be a live Web cast of this hearing available on the TDI Web site. Internet connections to the live audiostream will be limited.
Audio recordings of both the Mar. 9 and Mar. 22 meetings also will be available on the TDI web site after the meetings take place.
