AgentSecure Launches New Retail Commission Plan

March 14, 2006

Fort Worth, Texas-based AgentSecure, an online wholesaler for Commercial and Personal Lines products, rolled out a new retail commission plan, an incentive aimed at growing the revenue of its members and increasing the market share for its product base.

The company said the initiative is aimed at agencies looking to increase their new business, adding that it doesn’t pre-select which carriers get quoted or presented back to agents, enabling members to offer more options to their prospects.

According to AgentSecure, the retail commission plan offers aggressive rates unlike any currently available. Proposals are returned utilizing the AgentSecure Dashboard, a comprehensive quotation and new sale workflow system. Roughly 85 percent of all applications submitted reportedly yield a bindable proposal in five minutes.

“This is absolutely the best of both worlds,” stated Ed Gillman, president of AgentSecure, in the company’s announcement. “The program is not only bold, but attractive for agents that expect to write more than $10,000 per year. I think it will entice a number of new members and bring back some of those we may not have impressed in the past.”

Commissions range from15 percent for new BOP and package business to 7 percent for new workers’ compensation business. AgentSecure is endorsed by 31 Big I state associations, according to John Pergande, AgentSecure’s CEO.
