Chris Whitney has been named assistant vice president of Sales Operations for the Texas Farm Bureau insurance companies, effective Dec.1, 2006.
Whitney, a native of Pampa, Texas, and a former captain of the Texas Tech University football team, has been the manager of TFBIC operations in the Cherokee County Farm Bureau office for the last five years. He became a TFBIC agent in October of 1998.
“We are delighted to have Chris on board,” said Bo Wilborn, vice-president of Sales Operations for TFBIC. “He has exceeded expectations throughout his career with our companies. Chris is an outstanding leader who has contributed greatly to our success.”
“I’m very excited about this opportunity, “Whitney said upon his appointment. “I look forward to participating in the continued growth of the Texas Farm Bureau insurance companies.”
