Lockton Dunning Benefits Expands Leadership, Risk Management Teams in Dallas

Dallas-based Lockton Dunning Benefits has expanded its senior leadership and health risk management teams with the addition of Jeff Miller, Christian Moreno, Rich Allen and John Goodner. Lockton also announce it has promoted Steve Brooks to senior vice president.

Senior Vice President/Director Jeffrey Miller comes to Lockton Dunning Benefits from Aetna where he most recently served as senior vice president of sales for the mid-America region. He has also served as a vice president for Aetna as well as PacifiCare of Texas. Prior to moving to Texas, Miller worked with PacifiCare of Oklahoma and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oklahoma. He has more than 20 years of leadership experience.

Moreno joins the Lockton Dunning Benefits team as vice president. With more than 10 years of experience, Moreno specializes in health plan design and consulting as well as wellness solutions related to health and welfare benefits for employers. He served previously as vice president and executive director of Cooper Benefits where he developed the business model for Cooper Aerobics Center’s entrance into group employee benefits and corporate wellness consulting.

Allen joins Lockton Dunning Benefits as senior account executive and team lead from Cooper, where he most recently served as the vice president of risk and group benefits for Cooper Corporate Solutions. Prior to Cooper, he worked as the director of large group underwriting for Destiny Health Insurance Company (now The Vitality Group) in Chicago. He has also previously held positions with BlueCross Blue Shield of Massachusetts.

Goodner joins Lockton Dunning Benefits as senior account executive and team lead. Goodner has more than 12 years of employee benefits consulting experience, focusing on employee health and welfare benefit plans. Goodner previously worked as a healthcare consultant for Gabriel, Roeder, Smith & Company as well as Watson Wyatt Worldwide.

Brooks recently was promoted from vice president to senior vice president. He will continue to serve as a member of the health and welfare benefits practice with a focus on managing client engagements and business development. Brooks has more than 24 years of experience in employee benefits on both the carrier and consultant/broker sides of the business. He began his career at Towers Perrin where he gained experience in underwriting, financial management and vendor management and he went on to work at UNUM where he led national accounts for the last 10 years of his tenure prior to departing for Lockton Dunning Benefits.
