Main Street America Rolls Out Commercial Product Line in Oklahoma

The Main Street America Group has introduced its commercial product line, including its main line business owners policy (Main Line BOP), to approximately 100 independent agents who represent the super-regional property/casualty insurance carrier’s Grain Dealers Mutual Insurance Co. in Oklahoma.

Main Line BOP is a a property and liability product for small business owners.

“Nearly 500 classes of businesses quality for Main Line BOP, which is nearly 85 percent of the small business market,” said Henry Pippins, president of Grain Dealers Mutual and Main Street America’s Midwest region.

Main Line BOP provides standard BOP coverages, as well as some 50 additional ones. For example, its features include no waiting period for business income, business income/ordinary payroll coverage for up to 12 months, and generous money and securities coverage, the announcement said.

The small business owners insurance product also includes extensive equipment breakdown insurance, and coverages particularly important today, such as employment practices liability and identity theft. And a wide range of endorsements can be added to extend coverage further.

In addition to Main Line BOP, Grain Dealers Mutual agents in Oklahoma also received access to Main Street America’s workers’ compensation and commercial umbrella products. Commercial auto is expected to be introduced in Oklahoma later in the year.

Oklahoma is the 21st state to receive Main Street America’s Main Line BOP. The product is now available in Arizona, Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Georgia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont and Virginia.
