Ileana Ledet (leh DAY) has been named Deputy Commissioner of Public Affairs for Louisiana’s Department of Insurance.
Commissioner Jim Donelon announced the appointment in a news release this week, saying Ledet will manage the department’s public relations activities.
Ledet, who most recently worked for the state Department of Education as Public Information Director, begins her new duties immediately.
