Austin-based electronic insurance payment processing firm, ePayPolicy, on May 2 will begin accepting applications for its ePayPolicy InsurTech Award which aims to recognize the insurance agency that has best leveraged technology in order to grow sales and marketing.
The award is in its inaugural year, and is open to all insurance agencies in the United States. Organizations of any size are encouraged to apply, as the recipient of the award will be chosen based on exemplary adaptation of technology, not company size. There is no fee to apply for the award.
The award winner will be announced on Aug. 1, 2018. The winning agency will receive $7,500 in prizes, including a $1,000 cash prize, complimentary consulting time with insurance experts Mike Stromsoe and Chris Paradiso, a free two-year subscription to ePayPolicy’s payment processor, and more (terms and conditions apply).
Applications will be accepted from May 2 through July 18, are open to all agencies and are not exclusive to ePayPolicy customers.
ePayPolicy has developed an Insurance Technology Adoption Score (ITA Score), a subjective measure of an agency’s competitive standing in the insurance space. Applicants will be sent a comprehensive report with their score, along with tips and opportunities to improve that score using technology.
