Hoppe Joins BevCap Management in Texas as Claims, Risk Management Director

BevCap Management in McKinney, Texas, has added Curtis Hoppe as director of Claims and Risk Management.

Hoppe brings over 24 years of professional experience in auto liability, general liability and workers’ compensation claims management. His extensive background in high severity claims and complex litigation will further enhance BevCap Management’s capabilities, the company said.

Hoppe will be responsible for BevCap’s national accounts, middle market and alternative risk clients. He will also lead BevCap’s claim advocacy and consulting efforts of the multiple captive insurance companies BevCap manages.

He joins the BevCap team from Sedgwick CMS in Irving, Texas, where he spent the last 12 years in a variety of claims management roles, serving clients such as PepsiCo, Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Academy Sports & Outdoors. Hoppe has extensive expertise in complex claim management involving litigation due to foodborne illness, high severity auto accidents and product liability cases.

Hoppe served as a Captain in the US Army where he received the Army Achievement Medal, Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal, Nation Defense Service Medal and Army Service Ribbon.
