IMA Texas Expands to Fort Worth; Adds Schuler, Wallace

January 21, 2020

IMA Inc., a national insurance brokerage firm with offices in Dallas, is expanding to Fort Worth with the addition of two insurance veterans, Trey Schuler and Gavin Wallace.

Schuler and Wallace will work in tandem. The pair will serve as senior vice presidents for the employee-owned insurance broker specializing in property/casualty insurance, employee benefits and surety bonds.

The two met well before embarking on IMA’s expansion, as colleagues in their early careers and through their shared commitment to Fort Worth, particularly as volunteers for the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo. Schuler is a 10-year member of the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo Greeting Committee. Wallace is a member of the Fort Worth Stock Show Syndicate and the Agricultural Development Fund, both supporting junior livestock exhibitors.

In addition to work in the energy sector, Schuler serves clients in construction and commercial real estate. A third-generation insurance professional, he is president of the Independent Insurance Agents of Tarrant County and holds a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.

Wallace has spent his 12-year career managing risk for clients in a wide range of industries, with a focus on energy and food and beverage. He served as a director of the Independent Insurance Agents of Tarrant County and currently serves on the Ben Hogan Foundation Advisory Board. Wallace holds Certified Risk Manager (CRM) and CIC designations.

The two new SVPs join IMA’s 750 associates working across Colorado, Kansas, Michigan and Texas.
