Oklahoma Work Comp Commission: Feb. 27 Is Last Chance to Comment on Fee Schedule

February 26, 2020

The Oklahoma Workers’ Compensation Commission will hold a special meeting on Feb. 27 at 9:00 a.m. in the commission chambers on the 2nd floor of the Denver Davison Building in Oklahoma City to receive the final public oral comment on the Proposed 2020 Fee Schedule.

Interested parties must sign in at the door. At the close of this meeting the public written and oral comment periods will end.

The Proposed Fee Schedule has been posted on the commission’s website at https://www.ok.gov/wcc/.

Written comments should be submitted via email to feeschedulecomments@wcc.ok.gov before the Feb. 27 meeting.

Comments submitted after the Feb. 27 meeting may not be considered by the OWCC.

Since September 2019, the OWCC has worked with consulting firm, Fair Health, to review and update Oklahoma’s Medical Fee Schedule. To ensure an impartial review, Fair Health developed a data-driven approach through regional and nationwide comparisons of Oklahoma’s fee schedule rates. The consultant compared market information from a variety of sources and considered data from both public and private payers.

The Feb. 27 public hearing will close out the 30-day comment period of the 2020 Fee Schedule. The commissioners will then consider the public comments and submit the final Fee Schedule to the Oklahoma Legislature for approval.
