Starwind Specialty Insurance Services, headquartered in New York City, named Kirk Conrad as chief underwriting officer. Conrad, based in Dallas, has over two decades of experience across multiple industry sectors, spanning roles in commercial and personal lines, risk management and data analytics.
Most recently, Conrad served as the global head of analytics at BMS Group. He also served as a general securities and investment banking principal with the firm’s broker dealer. Before the reinsurance brokerage space, Conrad was a partner at Advocate Reinsurance Partners and vice president, actuarial reserving, at Affirmative Insurance.
