North Carolina-based Agency Ideas® announced a complete transformation of its CSRcross-selling.com(TM) Web site, which is dedicated to advancing cross-selling skills throughout the property and casualty insurance industry.

Enhancements include an entire update and redesign of its appearance, interface, and content. An integral part of the new site is the interactive Personal Lines CSR Sales Training Center. CSRs enrolled in it receive a new professional-level sales lesson each month. These CSR-focused lessons help reps to better prospect, obtain referrals, spot centers of influence, upsell, cross-sell, close new sales, and to make practical use of the extensive library of creative cross-selling tools that are the core of this Web site.

Personal lines managers are encouraged to enroll for the training, along with their CSRs, in order to learn what is being taught, to gain detailed familiarity with the terms used, the techniques presented, and to better understand how to utilize the site’s wealth of resources.

The online training may be purchased by an agency or company for all of its personal lines CSRs, or an individual CSR may register for training on their own. Each rep enrolled in the Sales Training Center receives:
· Full access to the many resources in CSR-Only Area of CSRcross-selling.com(TM).
· Twelve practical, in-depth, personal lines sales lessons each year.
· The opportunity to interact online, while learning how to generate fresh commissions.
· E-mail notification whenever the CSR area of the site contains fresh ideas and downloads.
· A prepaid phone card to cross-sell more distant insureds from home or office.
· A Cross-Sell Flip-Chart(TM) to convert routine incoming phone calls into cross-sales.

Commercial lines CSRs will also benefit from the extensive CSR-Only Area of the website, but at this time, there is no commercial online sales training available.

As before, CSRcross-selling.com(TM) maintains two password-protected areas. The first is for CSRs-Only, although managers and principals may also freely access this section. It contains imaginative direct marketing tools, email campaigns, letters, memos, catalogs, cartoons, newsletters, prospecting devices, and selling tips.

The second area remains exclusively for managers and principals. It features proven and new managerial-level tools, including complete programs that motivate, monitor, and reward personal and commercial cross-selling activities.

Most of the strategy and design work has already been done for site members. Virtually every marketing tool or other cross-selling device is ready-to-use or ready-to-edit. All come with complete guidelines and many are viewable as PDF documents. Members can download these same PDFs as a Microsoft Publisher file. Using Publisher, the tools may be easily customized, mail merged, and printed.
