Effective July 1, Kenesaw, Ga.-based THOMCO’s National Programs for Childcare, Assisted Living, Mental Health and the Developmentally Disabled will no longer be underwritten by TIG Insurance Company, but instead will be underwritten by members of the Glencoe Group. Subject to an account’s meeting the issuing carrier’s underwriting requirements, policies will be underwritten by Stonington Insurance Company on an admitted basis, and the Lantana Insurance Ltd. on a non-admitted basis. Both companies have been assigned an A.M. Best group rating of A, IX.

THOMCO’s extensive Specialty Programs expertise will complement the financial stability and experienced management of the Glencoe Group, which operates the individual risk operations of Renaissance Re Holdings.
