December 31, 2003

Florida-based Docubase Systems, Inc., a provider of Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) and DORIS Insurance Systems LLC, an independent agency management system provider, announced the formation of an alliance to provide an integrated solution addressing the increasing demand for agencies seeking to manage their paper-based and electronically created information seamlessly from their DORIS Agency Management system.

The partnership couples the feature rich EDMS software suite from Docubase and the powerful agency management technology of the industry leading platform from Georgia-based DORIS. The combined solution is designed to help agencies manage and control information access and flow throughout their organization, while adhering to corporate, industry and government requirements.

“The Docubase/DORIS alliance directly benefits insurance agencies wanting to enhance their business operations and manage their business documents,” said Steve Weissman, president of industry analyst and management consulting firm Kinetic Information LLC. “By leveraging the expertise of both companies, customers should be able to receive maximum total value from their technology investment by increasing operating efficiencies, more tightly controlling operating overhead, and increasing customer satisfaction.”

“The Docubase and DORIS Alliance addresses a significant challenge facing the market, added DORIS Vice President Mike Mansperger. “Agencies today must streamline their operations to become more efficient while maintaining tight controls and security on documents and information. The combination of document management and the Agency Management System addresses this challenge by providing both efficiency and control in an environment familiar to the agent”.
