Georgia-based Builders Insurance Group announced that Frederick Fisher and Eugene Hill were elected to its Board of Directors.

Allen Richardson, board chairman, remarked, “The growth and maturation of our company, coupled with the demands and complexities of effective corporate governance, caused us to seek out additional board members of the caliber and experience of Fred Fisher and Gene Hill.”

Fisher was a partner in the accounting firm of Fisher, Morrison & Co. before he became a founder, vice chairman and CFO of US Home
Corporation, the nation’s largest homebuilder at the time of his retirement in 1980. He has been an owner and director of Orange State Life Insurance Co. and several National and State banks.

instrumental in the formation and management of what has become Builders Insurance Group.
