Venture Programs Notes New Atlanta Staff

Venture Programs Inc., (www.ventureprograms.com), a provider in designing, underwriting and administering industry-focused insurance programs, announced two new staff positions at its Southern Region office in Atlanta.

Shelley Keenan has joined the company as production underwriter for the Southern Region and is responsible for new and renewal policy underwriting.

Keenan has more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, most recently as excess and surplus casualty broker at Heath Insurance Brokers in Atlanta. She has also served as executive underwriter for Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company and held positions with other leading insurance companies, including insurers Crum & Foster Insurance, Home Insurance Group and AIG. She is a licensed insurance agent in Georgia.

Ty Watt has joined the company as a sales representative for the Southern Region, and will be responsible for identifying potential business opportunities, assisting in the underwriting and introducing agents and brokers to new Venture products, packages and markets.

Watt has more than 12 years in the insurance and risk management industry, most recently serving as commercial programs division sales manager for Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company in Atlanta. He has also held positions with companies that include ManagedComp Inc., EBI Companies and Tennessee Insurance Services.
