The Alabama Independent Insurance Agents have launched a Hurricane Katrina ‘blog’ on which information can be logged chronologically to provide information, commentary or thoughts about Hurricane Katrina.
According to AIIA, the blog was created to quickly publicize all of the information the association is receiving about hurricanes, claims and other related information.
A quick check of the blog on Friday morning showed claims information and contact phone numbers, a report about a company’s claims and service numbers not working, and MetLife’s contact information.
The blog is at http://www.aiia.org/hurricaneblog.html. It is open to anyone who clicks on the above link, with comments and information going to AIIA for posting.
