A new online quoting system has been introduced by Main Street America Group of Jacksonville, Fla. that enables independent agents to quickly obtain homeowners and personal auto business quotes directly from the firm’s website.
Main Street America’s Personal Lines Quick Quote is pre-populated with protection class information on drivers (i.e., operator license number) and vehicles (i.e., vehicle information number) registered to the applicant’s address. It is also integrated with ChoicePoint’s Motor Vehicle Records and Comprehensive Loss Underwriting Exchange databases and insurance score information.
According to Bill Anderson, vice president of marketing and integrated solutions, this will mean less data entry, streamlined workflow and an overall faster quoting process. Additionally, quotes can be easily converted to new business applications for electronic submission to The Main Street America Group.
“With PL Quick Quote, our customers will be able to quote, submit an application and print, all from their desktop, in one seamless, electronic process,” Anderson explained.
