Main Street America Launches Three New Homeowners Programs

July 10, 2006

Three new homeowners package endorsements, collectively called the Homeowners Elite Program, have been implemented by The Main Street America Group in Jacksonville, Fla. The program consists of platinum, gold and silver levels.

Platinum, the flagship product and premier coverage level, offers superior protection for homeowners, including open peril contents coverage and water backup coverage. In addition, platinum, gold and silver offer varying levels of increased special limits coverage, for items such as jewelry and furs, that protects the valuables if they are lost, stolen or misplaced.

“By offering three levels of coverage, we are providing increased selection and value for our personal lines policyholders,” said Sharon Petrell, Main Street America Group assistant vice president of Marketing and Integrated Solutions. “Our platinum, gold and silver levels of coverage allow our agent-customers to tailor policies to meet the needs of their customers, making it easier to do business with us.”

The new endorsements replace Main Street America’s current Homeowners Protection Plus endorsement product for new business in most states.

“Each of these new package endorsements provide exceptional homeowners protection,” Petrell said. “Our goal is to offer outstanding coverage at a competitive price, and the Homeowners Elite Program meets and exceeds that expectation.”

The Main Street America Group operates four property and casualty insurance carriers: NGM Insurance Co., Old Dominion Insurance Co., Main Street America Assurance Co. and MSA Insurance Co.
