Merastar Insurance Co. in Chattanooga, Tenn. has appointed Tim Grant as vice president of financial institution marketing and Carolann Lotsey as director of marketing operations.
Grant is responsible for expanding Merastar’s partnerships with banking and financial institutions. His previous position was executive, personal lines sales at Westfield Insurance in Westfield Center, Ohio. He has more than 12 years of industry experience in areas including marketing, sales, underwriting, product development and automation.
Lotsey will oversee the daily operations of the marketing department’s group sales efforts. Her previous positions was as retention manager and senior partnership manager for GEICO Insurance. During her 10 year tenure with GEICO she worked in affinity and direct sales, customer service, and claims. Previously, she held sales, marketing and public relations positions at CBS Radio and Tasty Baking Company.
