Montgomery Insurance Unveils New Commercial Products

Montgomery Insurance, a Charlotte, N.C.-based member of Liberty Mutual Group introduced a new commercial product line: The Montgomery Advantage Commercial Series.

The centerpiece of the new line is CUSTOM PROTECTOR, a collection of property and liability coverages that can be customized for more than 500 business classes.

In addition to expanded eligibility, CUSTOM PROTECTOR offers optional market segment endorsements for 12 specific industries, including contractors, hotel/motel, manufacturing, restaurants, retail, and wholesale/distributors.

Split-rated property and liability coverages allow for price adjustments to match a customer’s specific exposure. The program is available to small to mid-sized businesses with receipts up to $15 million per location.

SmartNav, the new pre-qualification tool within Commercial IQ, Montgomery Insurance’s online quoting and policy application system, suggests an appropriate product for a commercial risk and reduces the quoting and submission process.

The Montgomery Advantage Commercial Series provides coverage for more than 1,100 classes. In addition to CUSTOM PROTECTOR, COMMERCIAL PROTECTOR is a product that provides property and liability coverages in a single policy for small business accounts with receipts up to $8.5 million per location. Montgomery Insurance also offers a Comprehensive Business Policy (CBP), which is designed for more complex, middle-market accounts.
