The Main Street America Group has promoted three officers.

The Jacksonville, Florida-based company has tapped Steve Peeters to serve as the company’s chief operating officer. In that capacity, he will oversee the company’s commercial, personal, and bond and reinsurance product lines, as well as pricing, information technology, claims and customer service functions.

Peeters first joined the company in February 2010 as a vice president and head of commercial lines and subsequently became senior vice president of product operations. Prior to joining Main Street, he served as the president and chief operating officer of Zurich Insurance Services.

Bruce Fox has been named as the company’s new vice president of legal services, leading the company’s corporate law and state filings functions. Fox first joined the company in 2002 as a senior field attorney and later oversaw the company’s staff counsel operations in Massachusetts.

Dan Gaynor has been named the company’s new vice president of commercial lines. He is responsible for commercial lines profitability, product development and underwriting. Prior to joining the Main Street earlier this year, he was a vice president at Harleysville Insurance.
