Brightway Insurance has named Talman Howard as the company’s new chief marketing officer.
Brightway Insurance, a national independent insurance retail organization, has more than 110 stores nationwide. The organization has experienced significant growth in recent years and plans to open 50 new franchise stores in 2013. Howard will be responsible for Brightway’s national distribution, carrier relationships and marketing.
Prior to accepting the position at Brightway, Howard had a lengthy career in the insurance industry. Key roles preparing him for this position include marketing and distribution leadership responsibilities at Progressive and Kemper.
“Talman’s diverse senior management experience with national carriers will serve us well as he guides our growing field operation and brand refinement in the coming years,” said Brightway’s CEO, David Miller. “Brightway is excited to start 2013 with this important addition to our team.”
Michael Miller, who previously served as the company’s chief marketing officer, will become Brightway’s vice chairman.
In 2012, Brightway announced plans to expand its brand into 17 states. Founded in 2003, Brightway Insurance is a national independent insurance retailer. From 2010 to 2011, Brightway reported sales grew from $108 million to $168 million and expects to reach $240 million by the end of 2012.
