The Main Street America Group, a super-regional property/casualty mutual insurance holding company, has appointed Chris Cox to president of Old Dominion Insurance Co., its primary writing company and brand throughout Florida and Georgia.

The appointment of Cox to Old Dominion president was approved by the company’s board of directors at its fall board meeting. Old Dominion is a wholly owned member company of Main Street America.

In addition to Florida and Georgia, several Main Street America commercial lines and personal lines products are underwritten through Old Dominion in its New England Region, Northeast Region and Southeast Region states. However, Cox’s appointment as Old Dominion president does not impact any of the company’s regional operations.
