Former Beecher Carlson Exec Tofil Joins Prime Risk Partners in Atlanta

Prime Risk Partners has added J. Scott Tofil to the company as executive vice president and chief financial officer.

Tofil succeeds Robert Schneider, who remains as a consultant to the company.

Tofil began his career as a CPA with a local public accounting firm in Atlanta followed by his service as the controller at Matrix Resources, an IT Recruiting Firm, from 1992 until 1999. He then served as controller for several startups from 1999 until 2005 before joining Beecher Carlson in May 2005, where he served as vice president and controller.

After Brown & Brown acquired Beecher Carlson in 2013, Scott served as senior vice president, chief financial officer and chief accounting officer of its Beecher Carlson division until joining Prime Risk Partners.

Prime Risk Partners is buildings its national insurance distribution platform through selective acquisitions and new hires. The company is headquartered in Atlanta.
