Ryan Insurance & Financial, a DeLand, Fla.-based independent insurance firm, has merged with S.S. Nesbitt Insurance, located in Clermont, Fla. The merger was finalized on October 1, 2018.
Headquartered in Birmingham, Ala., with locations throughout the southeast, S.S. Nesbitt provides clients with comprehensive risk-management services. The merger with Ryan Insurance & Financial exclusively concerns S.S. Nesbitt’s Clermont, Fla., location. The partnership serves to bring more opportunities for the small satellite office and add a substantial amount of support for continued growth in the central Florida area, according to a Ryan Insurance & Financial press release.
Following the merger, S.S. Nesbitt Insurance’s Clermont location will inherit the Ryan Insurance & Financial name.
Ryan Insurance & Financial, along with its parent company, Baldwin Risk Partners (BRP), is working to continue managing resources and capital to fuel organic and acquisitive growth in the insurance industry.
