Southern Fidelity Insurance Recruiting New Agents in Mississippi

Southern Fidelity Insurance Company, a regional insurance company serving consumers throughout the Southeast, is looking to recruit local agents in Mississippi after expanding into the state in July.

The company, which has been doing business since 2005, said it is seeking to grow in Mississippi with a local team of experienced agents. It offers homeowners coverage through its HO-3 policy and accessible customer service.

SFIC is currently accepting voluntary appointments and is offering Mississippi agents a variety of incentives, including:

• Split agent sponsorship opportunities for the first six months

• Professional development opportunities such as the SFI Annual Conference
• Performance recognition

With over $118 million in surplus, the company has grown its financial foothold throughout the Southeast and also provides coverage to consumers in Florida, South Carolina and Louisiana, servicing more than 135,000 policies in the region. It is the sister company of Capitol Preferred Insurance, which has served consumers in the region for more than 20 years.

To request a voluntary appointment, agents must submit the agency profile and application located on the Southern Fidelity website, their E&O, W9, and their agent and agency MS license. These required docs can be emailed to marketing@southernfidelityins.com or faxed to 850-521-3081 Attn: Marketing. Agents will need to reimburse SFIC $25.00 per appointment. Appointments will be considered by SFIC’s marketing department; agents will receive an e-mail addressing the status of their appointment within 30 days.
