Lockton Global Marine Adds Lochridge, Byrne in Florida

Lockton Global Marine has added Kyle Lochridge and Jake Byrne as vice presidents and account executives. They are based in South Florida.

Lochridge has over 13 years of experience in marine insurance with a focus on blue water risks and complex maritime risks. He will be responsible for client servicing including risk analysis and advice as well as the direct placement of coverages.

Byrne, also focused on blue water marine and complex maritime risks, joins Lockton with over 10 years of industry expertise. He works with his clients’ risk management, finance, human resources, legal and insurance teams to ensure that all risk exposures are identified and mitigated.

According to Hardie Edgecombe, president of Lockton’s Greater New Orleans area office, Lockton Global Marine is experiencing growth that will expand itsr geographical capability.

Lochridge and Byrne will provide bespoke service to clients with international locations by working closely with Lockton’s global partners including P.L. Ferrari & Co., a wholly owned marine P&I subsidiary of Lockton based in Europe.

Lochridge and Byrne bring Lockton Global Marine resources in the southeastern United States to over 35 insurance professionals who work collaboratively with over 200 industry experts globally to advise over 600 marine clients.
