Trustmark Corp., a publicly traded banking and insurance company based in Mississippi, has named Michael King general counsel.
King most recently served as vice president and senior legal counsel to Trustmark, and has spent 30 years with the company, according to a news release.
King graduated from Belhaven College and earned his law degree at Mississippi College School of Law. He currently serves as secretary of the Board of Directors of Trustmark Investment Advisors, Inc.
Trustmark has 179 offices in Mississippi, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee and Texas.
