YouZoom.com Inc., an affiliate of Arrowhead General Insurance Agency Inc., has expanded its product line to include homeowners insurance, including renters and condominium coverage.
Consumers now have the ability to comparatively rate and purchase homeowners insurance through YouZoom’s nationwide network of agent and broker websites. In fact, YouZoom is the only company closing homeowners transactions entirely over the Internet on behalf of multiple insurance companies, according to Kieran Sweeney, president and CEO of YouZoom.com Inc.
The policies are offered by “A” rated insurers Clarendon National Insurance Company and Sirius American Insurance Company. Both insurers also offer auto insurance through YouZoom, giving customers the opportunity to receive discounts if they insure both their car and home through one of the companies.
The company also recently announced that consumers can now manage many aspects of their policies online at their agent/broker’s website. This includes tracking payments, reporting claims and changing policy details. Launched in California late last year, the YouZoom Network boasts 160 agent/broker sites and online sales are increasing significantly each month.
Currently selling auto and homeowners policies in California, the company plans to move into additional states this summer, with a goal of six states by year end.
