TechAssure Association Inc.Establishes Education Committee

Markham F. Rollins, III, Chairman of TechAssure Association, Inc. announced that an Education Committee was established at its member and carrier meeting, which was held Nov. 6-8, in Denver. TechAssure Association, Inc. is an independent affiliation of agents and brokers focused on identifying and addressing the risks inherent to the technology community.

According to Rollins, the formation of the Education Committee is an important component of TechAssure as an association, since it can now offer value-added incentives to its members, which is one of the premises of the TechAssure Association.

Phil Mason, President of Mason & Mason Technology Services, Inc., located in Massachusetts, will head the Education Committee as Chairman. According to Mason, According to Mason, one of the first educational sessions will be a web cast that will be offered to its members in January. This web cast will address the issue of terrorism and the impact it has had on the insurance and reinsurance markets.

Mason said since one of the goals of TechAssure is to share information and expand the knowledge and skills of all TechAssure members, they are looking into offering its members educational sessions on a monthly basis.

New Level Partners, LLC (a Human Resources consulting firm with deep insurance industry expertise) is collaborating with the TechAssure Education Committee to design and implement a tailored learning strategy for technology brokers and account managers.

Membership opportunities are still available in key strategic areas throughout the country.
