SilverPlume Enhances Sage™ to Deliver ISO Information on the Web

August 14, 2002

Colorado-based SilverPlume and Insurance Services Office Inc. (ISO) have entered into an agreement that allows SilverPlume to distribute ISO content via their online product, Sage. With the addition of manuals from ISO’s loss costs, policy forms and insurance rules for 18 property and casualty lines of insurance in all 50 states, Sage is a solution for access to insurance reference information online.

Released less than a year ago, Sage is a tool that combines the ease of an insurance-specific search engine with access to the publications insurance professionals require.

“We have enjoyed a long-standing relationship with SilverPlume, as they have distributed ISO rules, loss costs, and forms for years through their CD products,” Domenick Yezzi Jr., ISO’s vice president for Specialty Commercial Lines, said. “With this new agreement, SilverPlume’s customers can now access this broad range of ISO content over the internet through Sage.”

“While adding ISO manuals to our existing Sage content is exciting, the Sage product line provides several other tools for professionals in all segments of the P&C market,” Christina Nelson, president and CEO of SilverPlume, added. “We are delighted with the immediate success of Sage. Our customers appreciate the ease of our interface, the accuracy of our search results, and our timely and innovative product development. This agreement with ISO demonstrates our commitment to expand and enhance the Sage product line to meet the ever- increasing online information needs of insurance professionals.”

Sage is an online subscription service. Subscriptions can include information on thousands of available markets, titles from popular publishers, as well as manuals from ISO and other advisory organizations and rating bureaus.
