William McCarter Joins ePolicy Solutions as SVP, Client Engagement Executive

ePolicy Solutions Inc. announced the addition of William S. “Billy” McCarter as senior vice president, client engagement executive.

McCarter’s last assignment was with Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company (FFIC), where he was senior vice president and CIO and regional CIO for Allianz of North America. “ePolicy Solutions has demonstrated that it knows how to apply technology to business problems,” McCarter said in referring to his work while at Fireman’s Fund to successfully deploy ePolicy Solutions’ Web-enabling technology, RightRiskSM. “I’m excited to be a part of a company that offers true next-generation business solutions through technology and consulting to the insurance vertical.”

McCarter assumes oversight and management of all technology projects for clients as well as core development. In leading the company’s professional services organization, McCarter will establish the strategic direction for engagement management, including creating project management methodologies to maximize value to clients.

As CIO at FFIC, McCarter oversaw strategic IT planning, steady state IT operations, and development of new application solutions and an annual IT operating budget of $166 million. Prior to FFIC, he was a vice president at Banc One Services Corporation and at PNC Bank Corp.
