The Vermont Captive Insurance Association will be hosting a Captive Insurance Seminar and Reception at the Westin St. Francis in San Francisco on Dec. 5.
The seminar, entitled “Understanding the Strategic Advantages of
Captives, Regardless of Market Conditions,” will discuss the process of deciding to form a captive insurance agency that will best reflect the needs of potential insureds. Representatives from two different types of captives will share their thought processes and experiences. Presenters will also describe the captive climate and regulatory requirements in Vermont, the largest U.S. domicile.
The seminar begins at 3:30 p.m. and will be followed by a reception at 5:00 p.m.
