Bill Steiner, National Project director of Childhelp USA, received a $20,000 grant from Insuring the Children (ITC). Steiner was presented the grant at the monthly board of directors meeting on March 17. There, he met with the board and shared his experiences with the Childhelp USA network and its efforts to protect children from abuse, exploitation and abduction.

John J. Collins, director of community programs at the Costa Mesa chapter advised that the $20,000 contribution from ITC will be utilized solely for program development and classroom presentation of Childhelp USA’s Child Abuse Prevention Program.

The mission of Childhelp USA is to meet the physical, emotional, education and spiritual needs of abused and neglected children and do so by focusing efforts in the areas of treatment, prevention and research. Studies prove that child abuse has devastating lifetime effects on its victims and society. Childhelp USA depends on donations and volunteers to join the battle for children’s lives and futures – working together to make a difference.
