Association Services and Insurance Brokers LLC (ASAIB), a wholesale division of Barney & Barney LLC specializing in custom tailored, reduced rate insurance programs for the lodging industry, now has the
ability to offer its package insurance program to a greater number of hotel owners, according to Steve Shea, vice president of Marketing for ASAIB.
Historically, ASAIB was limited to providing its package insurance program to properties less than 20 years in age and up to three stories in height or those less than five years in age and four to six stories.
“Our industry experience, expertise and the proven profitability of ASAIBs package program convinced carriers to expand the program’s capabilities to accommodate a broader spectrum of the hospitality market,” Shea continued. ASAIB can now offer its package program of property, liability, auto, crime and umbrella coverages to hotels and motels up to eight stories in height that are no more than 25 years old.
All members of the California Hotel & Lodging Association can still avail
themselves of the reduced price employee benefit products offered through ASAIB.
