CDI Awards Experior Examination Development Contract

Experior Assessments, LLC announced that the California Department of Insurance (CDI) has awarded Experior a multi-year contract for the development of California’s insurance licensing examinations.

“We are very pleased to have the opportunity to serve the needs of California’s insurance industry by providing the highest quality licensing examinations available,” said Christopher Wagenbach, vice president, state-based sales. “We have seen substantial growth in our insurance examination development area this past two years with the addition of four new clients who utilize our insurance test development services and seven re-awarded contracts. The state of California has recognized our commitment to maintaining the requisite insurance and test development expertise required to update and improve the Department’s licensing program.”

Under this contract Experior will develop examination items, update the current educational objectives, and provide valid and reliable examination content to the Department for their examination administration program.

Additionally, Experior will conduct a cut score study to assist California in selecting an appropriate passing score. Experior will work with the Department to maintain and update the item bank over the course of the next few years.
