ESIS Inc., the risk management services arm of ACE USA, announced the appointment of Edward Burkhardt as Assistant Vice President, Client Services.
Burkhardt will be based in Los Angeles and will have overall responsibility for account management and client services for the Southern California region, working with ESIS staff and brokers and producers in the area.
“I am pleased to welcome Ed to ESIS. With his proven leadership managing accounts from a field perspective, Ed is uniquely suited to supporting our continued growth in this region,” stated John Cummings, ESIS Senior VP and COO.
Burkhardt has more than 13 years of diverse experience in the insurance arena, particularly in Southern California. He most recently served as Director of National Accounts for American International Group’s Claim Services Inc., in South Coast Metro, Calif. He previously served as Claims Manager within AIG Claims Services, Inc. Prior to his experience at AIG, he held various management positions in workers compensation, claims and risk management at CNA Insurance Company in Brea, Calif. and at Progressive Insurance Company in Pasadena, Calif. Burkhardt holds a bachelor of science degree in Management from Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind.
