LunchTimeCE Expands into Western States

November 16, 2004

LunchTimeCE, an online CE provider and affiliate of the Insurance Skills Center (ISC), has expanded its services from California to Washington and Alaska, with plans to enter additional Western States by the end of 2004.

Licensed insurance professionals can take online courses and exams free of charge 24 hours a day; there is only a charge to process the CE credit with the state DOI. The fee for processing the CE is a low $15 per course hour. The content for each one-hour course is provided by ISC.

In August 2004, LunchTimeCE announced the release of their Corporate Account Solutions. A LunchTimeCE Corporate Account enables an organization to manage and track its continuing education by offering effective, user-friendly Web-based reports, available any time. Standard Reports include Detailed CE Usage Report, Daily Usage Report, Student List, CE Certificates, and Student Report Cards. A Standard Corporate Account is free upon request to any company whose staff members use LunchTimeCE to fulfill their CE requirements. Additionally, Advanced and Custom Reports can be purchased to suit a company’s particular needs.

LunchTimeCE was founded in 2001 by David Garden and Christopher Cajski. Garden had served as an Education Coordinator for IBA West in the mid-1990s. He later worked at DigitalThink as the tech solutions guru for the company’s custom e-learning courseware division. Cajski, then a lead instructional designer at DigitalThink who worked on projects for clients such as Deutsche Bank, UBS Paine Webber, and KPMG Consulting, collaborated with Garden on e-learning projects.
