Brown & Riding Insurance Services announced that Kelly Nguyen has been promoted to broker in their Los Angeles office.
Nguyen joined Brown & Riding in March 2003 as an Account Manager, and was soon promoted to Client Service Manager, supervising four associate brokers and production assistants in addition to her account management responsibilities. She has proven herself to be an energetic team player, willing to take on special projects to expand the capabilities of the company outside of her production and supervisory duties.
Nguyen has extensive experience with a wide range of casualty risks, including residential and commercial construction and products risks. Prior to her time with Brown & Riding, Nguyen worked for AON as a Senior Client Specialist, and also spent over 10 years as a Senior Underwriter with such insurance companies as Fireman’s Fund, CNA, AIG, and Reliance.
In her new role as a broker, Nguyen will be working closely with Senior Vice President Jack Smith in the firm’s Casualty Division, concentrating on construction accounts including wrap-ups, products, and umbrella/excess accounts.
