The Nevada Independent Insurance Agents recently elected a new Board of Directors and named a new president. Nevada Insurance Commissioner, Alice Molasky-Arman, announced the installation of the following newly elected officers:

According to Alice Molasky-Arman, “Mike Schellin, the newly appointed president, has a long history in Nevada and in the Nevada Insurance business. He is a graduate of Wooster High School and UNR where he received his Master’s Degree in School Administration. Mike’s career includes an extensive history as a teacher and coach in the area. This experience has helped in preparing him for his career in the insurance business.”
Schellin’s past insurance experience read as a long list of accomplishments including; Life Underwriting Training Council I and II, State Farm Insurance Millionaire Club, 1978, 79, 80, 82 and 84, Past President and Director of the Nevada Independent Insurance Agents, author of IIANN ‘Companion Economics’ for Northern Nevada Agents, and Director, Nevada Independent Insurance Agents State Board for three years.
Schellin, President of Nevada Insurance Agency Company, a company with a long history in the state, incorporating in Nevada in 1935. The agency was formed for the purpose of engaging in the representation of insurance companies to solicit and service all forms of coverage they provided to clients.
