Jack Varjabedian, 56, has been appointed marketing manager for California’s State Compensation Insurance Fund.
Varjabedian brings 21 years of workers’ compensation to his new post. He started his State Fund career in 1985 when he was hired as a claims adjuster for the organization’s Woodland Hills District Office. He quickly acquired the technical skills of a seasoned adjuster and the following year demonstrated his versatility when he became a sales representative. His sales accomplishments were formally validated in 1990 when he was named Cerritos District Office sales manager. He was appointed Stockton District Office field services manager in 1994 and was responsible with the supervision of the district’s sales, safety, underwriting and auditing functions. He assumed helm of the Stockton District Office in 2004 when he was named district manager.
