Richard Ponce has been appointed Oxnard District office field services manager for California’s State Compensation Insurance Fund. In his new post he will manage the district office’s underwriting, auditing and loss control functions.
Ponce began his State Fund career in 1991 when he was hired as a sales representative for the organization’s Oxnard District Office. In 2000, he became a district underwriter where he sealed positive working relationships with assigned brokers and served as a mentor to new employees. In 2002, he added was promoted to district underwriting manager for that office. .
