San Mateo, Calif.-based Edgewood Partners Insurance Center has named Abe Gottesman senior vice president for its Orange County, Calif., ofice. Gottesman will produce and manage mid-market to large national and global accounts in multiple industries, with a focus on construction, real estate, financial institutions and retail.
Prior to joining EPIC, Gottesman was chief operating officer at S.E.E. Touring Productions Inc., responsible for operations, sales, marketing and vendor relationships.From 2006 to 2007 he was vice president at UnionBanc Insurance Services. He also was previously originator-regional sales manager at Aon Risk Services and founded the consulting firm Gottesman Group, where he served as a management consultant to develop and implement marketing campaigns for a variety of startup companies.
Additionally, the company has hired Drew Sanders as principal to be based out of San Francisco. Sanders will focus on expanding the private equity, hedge fund and venture capital business throughout the Western United States.
Sanders began his insurance sales career at InterWest, where he focused on large property owners and financial institution business. He gained experience as a public speaker as a guest speaker and panelist for the Banc of America Securities and Rothstein Kaas.
