Encino, Calif.-based NAS Insurance Services is introducing a new NetGuard Plus Insurance that covers network-related exposures.
NetGuard Plus now includes network security liability insurance covering allegations of breach of privacy, libel, identity theft, slander, defamation, etc. In addition, the policy provides government investigation defense cost Insurance for investigations into privacy violations and includes regulatory fines and penalties. The policy also provides first party coverage for data recovery and customer notification costs for privacy breach. It also covers rogue employee claims.
The limits go up to $5 million. Minimum self-insured retention is $2,500, and the minimum premium is $1,250.
