SullivanCurtisMonroe Adds Baird as Vice President

Irvine, Calif.-based SullivanCurtisMonroe has added Colin Baird as a vice president in the company’s Pasadena, Calif., office.

Baird, an insurance veteran, joins SCM from Walter Mortenson Insurance, where he has been a broker and a previous partner, prior to the firm’s sale to a Texas-based owner. Prior to that, he was an executive vice president at Wilshire Insurance, director of brokerage operations at Principal Financial Group, commercial underwriter of Insurance at Transamerica Insurance and a representative at Prudential Financial. He has spent 22 years as a risk manager, specializing in workers’ compensation, risk transfer, contractual review, loss analysis, industry benchmarking, and loss control issues. His specialties include aerospace and defense, construction (industrial and commercial) and distribution risk management.
