Nautilus Insurance Group Receives Managing General Agents Award

Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Nautilus Insurance Group, comprised of W.R. Berkley Corp. member companies Nautilus Insurance Co. and Great Divide Insurance Co., has been recognized with community service, advertising and marketing awards at the 84th Annual Meeting of the American Association of Managing General Agents (AAMGA) in Palm Desert, Calif. The awards recognize AAMGA members for the production of marketing materials and advertisements that are creative, distinctive and impact the industry.

Nautilus Group was awarded first place for print advertising, print newsletter, Web site/electronic communications and stationery. It also received a community service award in recognition of its participation in the community through various charitable contributions and events.

In addition, Bonnie McKrill, vice president-marketing and agency management, was presented with the Earle S. Dillard award for outstanding service to the association. The Dillard award is presented to a committee chair that has performed in an exceptional manner on behalf of AAMGA. McKrill has served on the AAMGA marketing committee for the past five years, serving as co-chair from 2007 to 2010.

Since 1926, the AAMGA has served as a trade association to international wholesale insurance professionals, and is recognized as the voice of the wholesale and excess and surplus lines insurance industry.
